Man's whole household dies from coronavirus while he was fighting for his life

A man has beaten his battle with coronavirus making him the only survivor of the killer virus in his family home. Scott Miller lived at his home in Edinburgh with his 76-year-old mum Norma and her 69-year-old partner when they all became seriously ill with Covid-19.

Scott realised his mum was ill when she had a fall on March 21 and was unable to get her back on her feet. An ambulance took her to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where she tested positive for Covid-19.

Scott said he was allowed to visit his mum at her ward, but he was so ill that he can't remember any of it, BBC reports. The 43-year-old was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit at the same hospital where he was left fighting for his life in a ward upstairs while his mum was dying
