A man who lost his job and fiancé during the pandemic has found a new lease of life after transforming an old 1990s school bus into a plush bachelor pad.

Craig Gordnier, 27, bought the 1999 blue bird school bus in May last year and spent six months and £17,000 completely transforming it Before the pandemic hit, Craig, from Massachusetts, US, was working a normal nine to five job and planning his looming nuptials.

As lockdown wore on he lost his job and then his partner. Faced with the double blow, Craig decided to give his life an overhaul and in May, he bought the bus before driving it some 28 hours from South Dakota back to Massachusetts.

PHILADELPHIA - No one was injured after a gunman opened fire on a Philadelphia police officer during a shootout Wednesday afternoon in Germantown.Philadelphia Police Sergeant Eric Gripp told reporters that two plainclothes officers in an unmarked car were patrolling the 4800 block of Keyser Street around 2 p.m. when they came upon a shootout between a 23-year-old and a 20-year-old.
