Man, 30, who was having stroke 'refused hospital admission' because of coronavirus

A 30-year-old stroke victim claims he was refused admission to hospital - because of the coronavirus pandemic. Jarreth Kitchen, from Hull, suffered a stroke on April 14 - but when paramedics arrived, they allegedly told him to call a doctor rather than taking him to Hull Royal Infirmary.

His housemates had called an ambulance because Jarreth was unable to move the left side of his body while in bed. When he arrived at his doctors in a wheelchair, Hull Live reports, staff immediately called for an ambulance, which took him to hospital.
