Timothy Brown, a former NFL running back who later appeared in both the film and TV versions of “M*A*SH,” died April 4 from complications with dementia, according to reports.
He was 82. Brown, who became a correctional officer in Los Angeles after retiring from acting, had been living in Palm Springs, Calif.
Born in Indiana, Brown played college football at Ball State University in Muncie, then went on to play for the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Colts in a 10-year NFL career. “Timmy Brown was an all-time great Eagle and one of the most dynamic multipurpose players of his era.
