LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. - A hundred animals are on their way to safety after the Pennsylvania SPCA removed them from a property in Lancaster County.Eleven dogs, 27 cats, 5 horses, 4 sheep, 1 goat, 2 turkeys, 32 chicks, 4 guinea hens, 6 hens and 8 baby ducks were seized from the property on Pumping Station Road in Quarryville.  The SPCA says they found the animals living in "extremely unsanitary conditions" after a tip from a Good Samaritan.They were "living in filth" inside and outside the property, according to officials.

MUMBAI : The state of Maharashtra on Saturday reported a total of 23 cases of coronavirus infection caused by Omicron sub-variants BA.4 and BA.5. SAN JOSE, Calif. - New details were released Friday on a police shooting in San Jose that involved a suspect connected to two homicides.At a news conference, San Jose Police Chief Anthony Mata said two of his tactical officers had no choice but to fire when the suspect came rushing out of a shed and pointed a weapon at them.The chief also filled in some details about the crime spree that spanned from San Jose to Modesto.Video provided by the police department shows the suspect, identified as San Jose resident Raymond Calderon, running out of a shed he was hiding in carrying what turned out to be a stolen gun.It was shortly after the video was taken that Calderon pointed his weapon at tactical officers, who had been involved in standoff with him overnight, authorities said."At approximately 7:22 am (Wednesday) the suspect ran out of the shed and raced toward the perimeter officers," Mata said.The chief said that is when officers first saw the handgun."Calderon ran at the officers surrounding the house and raised and pointed the gun at special operations officers.

DETROIT (FOX 2) - The 3-year-old boy who was found dead in a freezer in Detroit early Friday morning was blind, neighbors say, and the boy's family said Child Protective Services had been called 13 times this year.The young boy, who police have not identified but neighbors and family members confirm to FOX 2 is named Chase, was found dead in a freezer inside the family's home.Detroit Police Chief James White said the young boy had been decomposing when he was found and credited the first officers to respond for following their instinct.According to neighbors, Chase was blind and had some other disabilities, but those were not listed.Chase, 3, has been identified by family members and neighbors as the little boy found dead and decomposing inside of a family's freezer on Friday. "She (the mother) couldn't deal with it, and we all said give him to us if you can't deal with it," a relative said.Family members also told FOX 2's Jessica Dupnack that CPS had been called at least 13 times this year but each time, they were unable to make headway and were not allowed inside the home."He was the sweetest one.

WILMINGTON, Del. - Wilmington police are investigating a shooting that critically injured an 18-year-old and a 12-year-old.According to officials, police were called to 24th and Tatnall Streets Friday, around 3:45 in the afternoon, on the report of a shooting.Officers found an 18-year-old male and a 12-year-old male at a local hospital, listed in critical condition.Responding officers found another 18-year-old male with non-life threatening gunshot wounds, at the scene. PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Police Department is grieving the loss of one of their own after an off-duty officer was killed in a crash in Somerton on Thursday. Philadelphia Chief Inspector Scott Small says just before midnight, officers in the 7th District received numerous calls about a crash at the intersection of Bustleton Avenue and Rennard Street. According to authorities, when officers and medics arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved in the crash. A Philadelphia police officer was killed in a crash while on his way home from work, authorities say. FOX 29's Steve Keeley has the latest.A 50-year-old man driving a Hyundai was transported to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival, authorities say. The vehicle that struck the officer's car was a BMW with an 18-year-old driver and two teenage passengers, police say. None of the individuals in the BMW were injured and they denied medical treatment, according to officials. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESInvestigators say the Hyundai was traveling west on Rennard Street crossing Bustelon Avenue as the BMW was going south on Bustleton Avenue. The BMW struck the passenger side of the Hyundai, jumped the curb and then struck a tree, per authorities. Police say a witness spoke to accident investigators and say the BMW was traveling at a high rate of speed. Small says through the investigation,  police learned the driver of the Hyundai was an active Philadelphia police officer who had just finished the night shift and was driving home in his personal vehicle. The officer was a 27-year veteran with the Philadelphia Police Department, according to Small. "It's a real tragedy," Small said.

PHILADELPHIA - A New York man who was captured on Ring doorbell camera violently punching three women on a sidewalk in Philadelphia will now face charges, according to authorities. The Philadelphia District Attorney tells FOX 29's Steve Keeley that Malcolm White, 36, will face charges connected to the attack. According to police, the attack happened on the 2900 block of Morris Street around 11 p.m. on June 15. Authorities say as White walked beside a group of three women, he punched one of them in the face and punched the others as they intervened. Authorities are searching for a man captured on doorbell camera attacking three women who were walking down a Philadelphia street.The attack left one woman with a broken nose and two other women with swelling and facial lacerations. PREVIOUS: Police: Man arrested in Montgomery County may be linked to Philadelphia attacks on womenAbout 20 minutes later, White allegedly knocked a woman in her 30s unconscious while sitting outside a property on the 1900 block of South 13th Street. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESWhite is also a suspect in a violent carjacking case out of Montgomery County and a sexual assault in Philadelphia, officials say. He was arrested last Thursday in Whitpain Township after police say a woman was pulled from her car by her hair and punched in the face in the parking lot of Henkels and McCoy on Jolly Road where the victim worked. The victim told police her attacker choked her, causing her to lose consciousness, according to an affidavit.

PHILADELPHIA - An off-duty police officer was carjacked at gunpoint early Friday morning and the car was found on fire. Chief Inspector Scott Small says the carjacking happened around 12:15 a.m., officers with the 12th District responded to numerous calls for a carjacking, shots fired and an auto accident at the intersection of 56th and Pentridge Streets in Kingsessing. When police arrived on scene, they found an off-duty officer who said he was parking his Silver 2020 Toyota Highlander when a suspect with a gun stopped him, reached into his pockets to grab his keys and then stole his vehicle, authorities say. Small says the off-duty officer fired his gun, but it remains unclear if the carjacking suspect was shot. According to police, the suspect then crashed the off-duty officer's car into unattended parked cars and then continued going north on 56th Street. Hours later, a car was found burning in West Philadelphia and it was identified as the officer's car.
