Long Covid has left one mum so exhausted she struggles to breathe when she does something as simple as loading a washing machine.
Ruth Moore contracted coronavirus in October along with her husband James, two of her three daughters, and her 79-year-old mum Gloria.
Four months on, the 49-year-old, who has a black belt in karate and was otherwise fit and healthy, is still feeling the effects of the potentially deadly virus which ravaged her family.
She is taking steroids and using inhalers to help her through extreme fatigue and breathlessness, and she told the East Kilbride News that she fears she will be affected by long Covid for the rest of her life.
