Wells Fargo Center hiring for more than 400 part-time positions at Tuesday job fair

PHILADELPHIA - Are you on the job hunt? A massive hiring event is kicking off at a very familiar Philadelphia arena on Tuesday.Wells Fargo Center is hosting a job fair Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

inside the arena at 3601 South Broad Street.More than 400 part-time positions are available in several departments, including operations, building services, security, guest services, food and beverages and more.Wells Fargo Center says the positions will offer "competitive" hourly wages from event staffing and regular day and night shifts.In addition to Flyers and 76ers games, the arena is home to concerts and shows. The upcoming lineup includes Lizzo, Twenty-One Pilots, Kevin Hart and Bruce Springsteen.Attendees are encouraged to apply ahead of time at and bring printed resumes to share with Comcast Spectacor and Aramark managers at the event.

PHILADELPHIA, PA - MARCH 06: Gritty holds a sign welcoming Bryce Harper to Philadelphia during the game between the Washington Capitals and the Philadelphia Flyers on March 6, 2019 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.(Photo by Andy Lewis/Icon S PHILADELPHIA - Inflation, rising crime and COVID-19 are just some of the things stressing Americans, but a new study found that Philadelphia is one of the most stressed cities in the country. The study conducted by WalletHub determined which cities in America are the most and least stressed by factors including business hours, divorce rates, suicide rates and unemployment rates. The study included over 180 cities, including local places such as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Jersey City, and Wilmington. Philadelphia ranked at number 5 out of 182 cities, making it one of the most stressed in the country.  Although Philadelphia's family stress ranked high at a score of 46 and health and safety stress ranked at 39, financial and work stress in the city ranked tremendously low.A separate study, conducted by the American Psychological Association, placed Philadelphia as the 9th most stressed city and noted Philadelphians are stressed about traffic congestion, poverty levels and divorce rates. A new study found that Philadelphia is the ninth most stressed city in the United States.

Wells Fargo bank is claiming that the company held "fake" job interviews for minority candidates for positions that had already been filled and says he was fired for bringing attention to the matter.Joe Bruno, a former executive in the wealth management division at Wells Fargo’s corporate offices in Jacksonville, Florida, told the New York Times that the company would interview minority candidates for positions to adhere to an informal policy promoting diversity but noticed that the candidates were often interviewing for jobs that had been promised to someone else.CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA - APRIL 19: The exterior of a Wells Fargo store photographed on April 19, 2022 in Calabasas, California.
