Leaked document claims some of Greater Manchester's hospitals are already full with Covid-patients

It mean there were no spare beds to deal with the growing influx of patients.The leaked NHS document 'suggested that Greater Manchester’s hospitals are quickly heading towards being overwhelmed by the sheer number of people with Covid needing emergency care to save their lives, in the same way that those in Liverpool have become in recent weeks', according to the newspaper.By Friday, a total of 211 of the 257 critical care beds in Greater Manchester, 82pc, were reportedly already being used by coronavirus patients or those critically ill with another illness.Another 110 new patients with confirmed or suspected coronavirus were admitted to hospital in the 24 hours before the spreadsheet was shared with NHS bosses on.
