Oldham continues to have the highest rate in the region with 645.3 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending July 10, according to the latest data from Public Health England.
The lowest infection rate is in Bolton - where it stands at 326.2 per 100,000 during the same period. Across the conurbation the infection rate is now 498.9 cases per 100,000 population.
That’s higher than the national average of 348.6. A total of 14,147 people tested positive for coronavirus across Greater Manchester in the week which ended on July 10.
