There were 245 positive Covid-19 tests in Bolton during the week ending May 2, according to the latest data from Public Health England.
That’s 107 more than the previous seven days. Bolton’s current infection rate stands at 85.2 cases per 100,000 people in the seven days to May 2.
Only Hyndburn, in Lancashire, has a higher infection rate of 120.9 cases per 100,000 people, during the same period and 98 confirmed cases in that time.
