Latest Covid-19 infection rates in Greater Manchester as borough sees cases rise faster than anywhere in England

Bury has the highest infection rate across the conurbation, with 232.5 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending February 19.The lowest infection rate is in Trafford where the rate is nearly half that of Bury - with 123.4 cases per 100,000 people.In Bury, there were 444 new positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 19, which is 51 more than the previous seven days.The infection rate there is up compared with the previous day and the week-on-week trend is up by 13 per cent.The borough has seen the biggest weekly rise in the number of cases of any area in England.
