Late Late viewers were reduced to tears watching Jeni Pim on Friday evening’s show as she recounted the heartbreaking story of losing her beloved husband Nigel to Covid-19.

The Ballymaloe Cookery school teacher was raw with emotion as she shared the devastating reality of her partner’s quickly deteriorating condition which lead to his passing nine days ago.

Jeni told Ryan how she brought Nigel, 50, who was feeling ‘very unwell’, to hospital thinking she would see him again in a few days but he died in intensive care just days later due to complications from the virus.
