Doctors at a Lanarkshire practice have been left unable to speak to many patients after a number of Covid-19 cases left them with limited staff.

Patients seeking medical advice from the Stonelaw practice, based at Rutherglen Primary Care Centre, were referred to a website for advice instead, rather than being given an appointment with a doctor.

Text messages were sent out last week to those registered with the practice, stating they could only deal with "urgent" cases. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
