Furious MPs have demanded that Jacob Rees-Mogg show some "House of Commons sense" and reverse his decision to force MP to return to Parliament in person.
Commons Leader Jacob Rees-Mogg defended MPs queuing to vote on Tuesday as being their "democratic duty" and said "most members" followed social distancing.
It came as Downing Street revealed that self-isolating Cabinet Minister Alok Sharma attended a 45-minute meeting in Downing Street with the Prime Minister and Chancellor just hours before falling ill.
The Business Secretary also spoke in Parliament on Wednesday where he began wiping his brow and looked like he was feverish at the despatch box.
