Kym Marsh reveals her dad's cancer has spread as she gives health update

Kym Marsh's parents, Pauline and Dave, have given an update following her father's prostate cancer diagnosis.Her parents appeared as guests on BBC One show Morning Live, which their daughter presents alongside Gethin Jones.

They were informing viewers of the importance of getting your prostate checked after the 77-year-old delayed going to the doctors during the pandemic.Asking how he's feeling this morning, Dave admitted that as he's on his medication he's "not too bad."Gethin reminded Kym that last year when he was first diagnosed one of the hardest parts for her was not being able to go with him to appointments due to coronavirus.However, with restrictions easing she's now able to attend and went along to one this week.Speaking about the doctor's appointment, Kym said: "It was really good, Tuesday this week we were able to all go together to your latest appointment."That was really good for lots of reasons really.

One because there are questions that we have as a family and sometimes when I ask what happened at the appointment you guys forget! "It was really good for me to be able to be there."Kym also added it was nice to see the people that were looking after him before revealing the results of his latest tests.She told Gethin: "We were expecting that the cancer had spread because of your later PSA blood results.
