Ayrshire chippy has been forced to close its doors after a member of staff tested positive for coronavirus. The Plaice to Be has been closed until Wednesday this week with a deep clean set to be carried out at the popular takeaway.Owner Jo Goudie posted on the chip shop's Facebook page this evening that all workers at the Stoneyhill Avenue eaterie have been tested for Covid as a result of the positive test.Ms Goudie wrote: "Unfortunately one of the staff members in the shop have tested positive for coronavirus."Due to this a large amount of my staff will be self isolating until next week."Fortunately I wasn’t in close contact so I am fine (Jo) so I will be working alongside skeleton staff and a few old staff who have left to keep us up and.
