Scores of people have caused huge tailbacks in Inverness after KFC opened its drive-thru for the first time since lockdown.

Drivers could be seen lined along Millburn Road in the Highland capital to get their fast food order during the coronavirus pandemic.

A video posted on social media at around 6.40pm yesterday showed the queue to the restaurant, with cars lining up en masse as people look to get their chicken fix.

It comes after the fast-food giant reopened drive-thru facilities at 55 of its UK branches as the firm seeks to slowly get operations back to normal.
