Katie Price 'lands own TV show' focused on mental health awareness

Katie Price has reportedly landed her own television show focusing on mental health awareness. The former glamour model endured a difficult 2021 after being involved in a drink driving car accident, narrowly avoiding a jail sentence in December.Since then, the mum of five says she is determined to improve her mental health and revealed recently she has started seeing a therapist.The Mirror reported that Katie is concentrating on the future and is said to be 'excited' about her new Channel 4 show.

A source told OK! online: "Katie is working with Channel 4 on the pilot for a new show about mental health awareness this year, which she's really excited about. "She's on the recovery path herself and is really committing to her weekly therapy sessions, staying sober and exercising."The source added that the TV personality has been 'keeping herself busy and out of trouble'.Mirror have contacted Channel 4 and Katie's rep for comment.It comes after the star appeared on Good Morning Britain alongside her son Harvey Price telling hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Bacon that she thinks 2022 will be 'her year'.When quizzed by the presenters about how she is hoping to begin the new year on a positive note, and if she is taking part in dry January, Katie claimed she is "not even a big drinker" before sharing that her number one priority is her health.She said: "2022 is definitely my year, 22 is my lucky number, my birthday and I don’t know if you remember the deal or no deal main box this has to be my year of no drama, honestly!"When asked about staying off the booze for the first month of the year, she added: "I'm not even a big drinker anyways this year I want to be really healthy and just focus on myself, to be honest.x"Mental health
