Kate Garraway fears people will be too sick to use new NHS test and trace app for Covid-19

Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway spoke about her concerns with the brand new NHS test and trace app on Thursday’s show. The morning the app launched Kate, whose husband Derek Draper battled coronavirus that left him in a coma, said she had some concerns about the app.

She had downloaded it herself and had a look around and said there were some useful aspects to the app such as the information about the disease it gives users.

But, she added, when she clicked through to book a test, she says the app just linked her to the main website where people book coronavirus tests.

This, she said, was not much help as it did not make it any quicker to use the app. She also asked Dr Hilary Jones about another fear she had, having been worst
