KATE Garraway beamed with happiness as she let her hair down on a fun day trip to Winter Wonderland with her children. The TV presenter has been to hell and back over the past two years throughout her husband Derek Draper's devastating battle with Covid.

She has been juggling caring for Derek alongside her TV and radio jobs, but enjoyed a rare care-free moment with her kids Darcey, 15, and 12-year-old Billy.

They were seen playing games and riding the carousel as they made the most of their Christmas break. Proud mum Kate took pictures of Darcey and Billy letting loose on the rides after praising their strength throughout the family tragedy.
