In addition to this, 22 more people lost their lives to the disease. Of the total, Bengaluru accounted for 29,068 new Covid cases and six deaths.

There are currently 3,23,143 active Covid-19 cases in the state, nearly 2,23,000 of which are in Bengaluru.
