PALMYRA, N.J. - A 48-year-old man living in Palmyra, New Jersey, was shot and killed while sitting in his home, according to authorities. Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Palmyra Police Department Cheif Meghan Campbell made the announcement Saturday afternoon. Authorities say Timothy Thomas was sitting in his living room in his home on the 400 block of Cinnaminson Avenue when shots were fired into the home around 2:30 a.m. According to police, Thomas was struck in the chest and taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead just before 4 a.m. One of Thomas' relatives was sitting in the same room when the shooting happened and they were not injured, police say. Investigators believe there were multiple shooters who fled on foot towards the Delaware River, according to police. Police: 2 injured after suspect shoots into crowd of pedestrians in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - Two people were injured after a gunman opened fire into a group of people in North Philadelphia, according to authorities. Police say the incident happened early Saturday morning around 1:45 a.m. Officers with the 22nd district responded to a report of a shooting on the 1800 block of W. Diamond Street, according to police. Officers met a group of pedestrians who alerted them that two people were shot, authorities say. According to police, a 19-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man suffered from gunshot wounds. Both say they were standing on the street when a car, possibly orange or red in color, stopped in the street and let out a passenger, authorities say. Police say the victims told investigators the passenger who exited the car had a gun and began firing into the crowd of people standing at the location. The suspect got back into the car before it drove westbound on Diamond Street, according to investigators. Both injured victims were transported to the hospital where the woman, who was shot in the foot, is in stable condition.

Justin Bieber has tested positive for Covid-19, meaning that some of his US tour dates have been postponed.The Baby singer, 27, opened the Justice World Tour on Friday in San Diego, with wife Hailey Baldwin among the thrilled fans in the audience.Shortly after, it was announced that his concert in Las Vegas, due to take place today, would be postponed over a coronavirus outbreak in the team.According to TMZ, the musician found out that he contracted coronavirus on Saturday – but his rep shared an update on his health and explained that he is feeling okay.It is unclear when Justin first became ill, and whether his upcoming shows in Arizona and LA this week will be rescheduled.Justin was due to perform at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas later today, before the postponement was confirmed in a statement.‘Due to positive Covid results within the Justice Tour family, we will, unfortunately, have to postpone Sunday’s show in Las Vegas,’ it read.‘Justin is, of course, hugely disappointed, but the health and safety of his crew and fans is always his number one priority. ‘The tour launch in San Diego was a massive success, and Justin is excited to bring this spectacular show to his Las Vegas fans as soon as possible.‘The rescheduled date for Las Vegas will be Tuesday, June 28. Tickets for the original show will be honoured.
