We have experimented with a bunch of ideas since Covid & WFH to help the team think about their health. Sitting is the new smoking, & the idea has been to nudge everyone to move.Killing all work chats post 6pm & weekends have probably had the best ROI.

1/5 https://t.co/YsP83CrCmm Zerodha has been taking such initiatives since the pandemic-led WFH started. Talking about them, he added in the post, Last year we let everyone on the team set health goals & ran a lottery amongst those who met their goals for ₹10lks.

Was successful, but the participation wasn't broad-based. We ran online yoga sessions & made mental health counselors available for the team during lockdowns.

The plan has been to get everyone to a diagnostic center once a year to track health, but has been a challenge given WFH & most on our team aren’t in Metros.

Philadelphia mask mandate: Where you need to wear a mask
PHILADELPHIA - Masks are back in Philadelphia, but when and where you are required to wear them can be confusing. As of this week, Philadelphia is under an indoor mask mandate that was announced after the health department noted an uptick in new COVID-19 infections. The all encompassing mandate was thrown for a loop, however, when a federal judge in Florida struck down the national mask mandate for public transportation that was recently extended by the Centers for Disease Control. The Justice Department said Tuesday it will not appeal the federal district judge’s ruling that ended the nation’s mask mandate on public transit unless the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention believes the requirement is still necessary. In a statement released a day after a Florida judge ended the sweeping mandate, which required face coverings on planes and trains and in transit hubs, Justice Department spokesman Anthony Coley said officials believe that the federal mask order was "a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given CDC to protect the public health." He said it was "an important authority the Department will continue to work to preserve."Coley said the CDC had said it would continue to assess public health conditions, and if the agency determined a mandate was necessary for public health, the Justice Department would file an appeal.Philadelphia's health officials on Monday said it will bring back its indoor mask mandate on Apr.

Trustees pass indoor masking requirement for Thames Valley District School Board
Thames Valley District School Board voted to implement a masking requirement for indoor spaces on Tuesday night, however the TVDSB’s legal counsel noted that such a requirement is not enforceable. The motion from Trustee Corrine Rahman was originally presented during a special meeting held last Tuesday in response to a growing number of staff absences at Thames Valley that have been tied to illness.During that meeting, trustees voted that the motion was out of order after Trustee Meagan Ruddock voiced concerns that the group lacked the authority to pass such a motion, meaning Rahman’s motion could not be voted on. Trustee motion to reinstate indoor mask mandate fails at TVDSB meeting On Tuesday, the Board of Trustees met for another special meeting and board chair Lori-Ann Pizzolato informed the group there may have been a miscount on the vote that resulted in Rahman’s motion being deemed out of order. The vote was held again, with trustees instead voting Rahman’s motion was in order, paving the way for another round of debate on the matter. The motion requires staff, students and visitors to mask in all TVDSB buildings “until such time as Public Health Ontario updates this guidance or the Local Public Health Units in TVDSB explicitly advise otherwise.”“Students will not be required to submit medical documentation for exemptions,” the motion added.#BREAKING: TVDSB Trustees passed a motion from Trustee Corrine Rahman to implement a masking requirement for indoor spaces during a special meeting tonight.
