Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe has defended the July stimulus package saying he believes it is "enough" to revive the economy with a package of measures that they are ready to implement now.
Speaking on RTÉ's This Week he said he understands some of the negative reaction from businesses to it. "Each of them are representing businesses that are facing giganctic challenges, so I entirely understand those." However, he said, if you look at the scale of what Ireland has done with this stimulus, it is now a scale of intervention that is very comparable, and in many cases, bigger than what other countries have done.
