Japan Covid-19 patient receives world's first living donor lung transplant

Covid-19 became the world's first-ever recipient of a lung transplant from living donors this week.According to Kyodo News, The operation, which took around 11 hours to perform, transplanted part of healthy lungs from the patient's husband and son to replace her failing lungs.
