Andrew Lloyd-Webber and a string of high-profile cultural figures have welcomed plans for so-called vaccine passports, to allow theatres and venues to reopen.
In a letter to Boris Johnson and Keir Starmer sent tomorrow, the group sound their support for the Government’s ambition to return to full capacity audiences without restrictions as soon as possible.
And they recognise the role that 'Covid status certification' could play in reducing social distancing. As well as the West-End musical legend, actors Simon Russell Beale and Ralph Fiennes, Bond producer Barbara Broccoli and the playwrights Tom Stoppard and James Graham signed the letter.
