Jadon Sancho issues apology after Covid breach resulting in being delayed joining England squad

Jadon Sancho has issued an apology after he was one of three England stars to have been blocked from joining up with the squad after breaching coronavirus lockdown rules.

Along with Chelsea duo Tammy Abraham and Ben Chilwell, Sancho was pictured breaching the government's rule of six while attending a house party to celebrate Abraham's 21st birthday.Sancho has now apologised, writing on his Instagram story: "I would like to apologise for breaking the government guidelines and although I was unaware upon arriving of the numbers attending, I take full responsibility for my actions."I will make sure moving forward that I learn from this."The trio will be tested for coronavirus before manager Gareth Southgate makes a decision on whether or not.
