There’s no doubt that small business owners have been among some of the hardest-hit groups throughout this pandemic — included among them is Jamie Heaslip.
The former Irish rugby star owns two pubs in Dublin — Lemon & Duke and The Bridge 1859 — and chose to close the doors of both establishments early on in the pandemic.
Since then, they have adapted to the ever-changing restrictions in order to keep business going but times are tough and Heaslip admits there’s a long road ahead. ‘I’m a small business owner of two pubs and we were probably one of the first in the country to close our doors when this thing started,’ Jamie exclusively told EVOKE. ‘It hasn’t been easy,’ he added.
