FALLS TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Two police officers in Bucks County are part of an investigation after shooting a suspect, according to the district attorney's office.

Authorities say the incident began with a traffic stop early Tuesday morning in Falls Township. The male suspect is accused of displaying a handgun to police two separate times before he fled from police in his vehicle, officials say.

According to police, the firearm was secured after the man was shot. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESOfficials say officers provided aid to the man until medics arrived to transport him to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery.

The officers involved in the incident were not injured and are on paid leave while the shooting is investigated, per police.

Man, 19, fatally shot in the head in Logan: police

PHILADELPHIA - Homicide detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting in the Logan section of the city. According to authorities, the deadly shooting took place on the 4700 block of N 13th Street early Friday morning. Police say officers arrived on scene and found a 19-year-old man lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the head. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESMedics pronounced the man dead on scene, officials say. 2 accused of killing man found on Schuylkill River Trail captured in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY - Two men wanted on charges in the death of a man whose body was found along the Schuylkill River Trail were arrested Thursday. Cody Reed and Marquise Johnson, both 23, were taken into custody by federal authorities in Atlantic City. Officials say Johnson surrendered US Marshals after a five-hour barricade. Both men are accused of killing Daquan Tucker, of Audubon, whose body was found in March by a bicyclist in a wooded area about 100 feet from the trail down a steep embankment. Officials say all three men knew each other, and met at Reed's home before walking the trail where the shooting took place.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - A 24-year-old man has been critically injured in a North Philadelphia shooting.Police were called to the 2000 block of West York Street Thursday evening, just after 8 p.m., on a report of a shooting, according to officials.When police arrived, they found the man had been shot four times, three times in his arm and once in the abdomen.They rushed him to Temple University Hospital where he was placed in critical condition.Police announced no weapons have been recovered and no arrests have been made.
