Saskatchewan dropping proof of vaccination requirement “We’ve been operating throughout the entire pandemic and we’ve gotten pretty used to pivoting our business and changing on the fly,” Cierra Sieban-Shuback said.“So for us, it’s honestly moreso ‘normal’ than anything else.”Sieban-Shuback owns Living Skies Cannabis in Saskatoon.

Pharmacy technicians experiencing pandemic burnout, could lead to medication errors
LOS ANGELES - Like nearly every industry negatively impacted by the ongoing pandemic, pharmacies are no exception. According to a recent report from The American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA), pharmacists and pharmacy personnel say they are being stretched thin and it could impact your health. According to a 2022 National Pharmacy Workplace Survey published in December, many pharmacy technicians and personnel working in the industry shared concern over stress leading to "occupational burnout."75% of respondents answered negatively to questions regarding them receiving enough time and personnel to safely perform or meet duties.Because of the concern of burnout, both the APhA and the NASPA say they identified many factors that could lead to technicians making medication errors that could negatively impact consumers. These factors that could contribute to medication errors include: "Addressing pharmacy personnel harassment and bullying by patients/consumers is critical. Pharmacy personnel should not fear for their safety when providing patient care and serving their community’s health care needs," said Rebecca Snead, RPh, executive vice president and CEO of NASPA.

Brian Laundrie’s full autopsy, forensic reports released by medical examiner
SARASOTA, Fla. - Brian Laundrie’s full autopsy and forensic reports were released on Monday, revealing new information about the circumstances around his death — including details about items found near his remains. The 47-page report described a "main" scene that contained personal items belonging to Laundrie, including a "pair of green shorts with a green belt, two slip-on shoes, a backpack with unknown contents, a white metal ring," as well as a handgun. The "secondary" scene contained skeletal animal remains, a "half handwritten note" and a hat with the logo "MOAB Coffee Roasters," according to the report.RELATED: Gabby Petito update: Everything known about her death, search for Brian LaundrieLaundrie had been the subject of a manhunt for more than a month as investigators searched for clues in the slaying of Gabby Petito. His remains were later discovered within the vast Carlton Reserve wilderness park in Sarasota County, Florida. The new documents revealed that Laundrie’s body was likely submerged in up to 3 feet of floodwater "for an extended period of time," which likely contributed to the lengthy search for him.The release comes weeks after the FBI released its final update on the Gabby Petito investigation, saying a review of the notebook found near Laundrie's remains showed he claimed responsibility for her death.

Trudeau expected to invoke Emergencies Act to aid convoy blockade response: sources
Justin Trudeau is expected to announce Monday he will invoke emergency powers to support provinces in ending the blockades and public disorder that have gripped Ottawa for 18 days, Global News has confirmed. One national security source and one source that participated in a Monday morning Liberal national caucus meeting said the government is poised to invoke the act and that senior officials are preparing for an imminent announcement.Multiple sources have also told Global News federal officials are weighing options for the military to help law enforcement with logistics. But there is no plan at this time, according to the sources, to have the military help police in dealing with civilians or deploying into the streets. What exactly are the powers coming into play? Let’s take a look.First, a quick history recap: the Emergencies Act is not the War Measures Act.The War Measures Act was the controversial piece of legislation that Trudeau’s father, Pierre Elliott Trudeau, used back in 1970 during the October Crisis, which saw a series of terrorist attacks by a Quebec separatist group. The law allowed the federal government to suspend civil liberties, and it was in response to questions over how far Trudeau senior would go in suspending these liberties that he offered the infamous phrase: “Just watch me.”That law, however, was repealed and replaced in 1988.
