Some members of the public can schedule their own appointment for a Covid-19 booster vaccine at a select number of vaccination centres from today.
The Health Service Executive's online system is available for anyone aged 40 and older, or for people aged 30 and over that are either pregnant, a healthcare worker, have an underlying condition, or are living in a nursing home or a long-term healthcare facility.
The first four centres to deploy this technology are Croke Park in Dublin, the National Show Centre in Swords, Co Dublin, Scoil Carmel in Co Limerick (appointments from tomorrow morning), and the Astro Active Centre in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.
