coronavirus cases in Scotland on the rise, the number of people being ordered to isolate is also on the increase. If you become ill with Covid-19, or someone in your property tests positive for it, or you come into close contact with someone who has recently contracted the virus, then you will be ordered to do a period of quarantine.
The length of self-isolation can vary in some circumstances, but it is generally for around 14 or 10 days. People ordered to quarantine for this period should not leave their homes, which means that even a visit to your local GP is off the cards.
