According to the Met Office, pollen season is now at its peak, with the count at 'very high' over the last couple of days. But if you're experiencing hay fever symptoms such as a sniffly nose and an itchy throat, then you could easily confuse them for coronavirus - or vice versa.

Allergy UK, in partnership with Kleenex, found in a recent study that 56 per cent of people with hay fever are anxious that their symptoms might be mistaken for Covid-19 by others.
