How Scots can access their Covid vaccine passport ahead of further restrictions lifting next week

More Covid restrictions will be lifted next week amid claims that Scotland has ‘turned a corner’ in the Omicron wave. Nicola Sturgeon confirmed that rules on table service and social distancing measures will no longer be required in Scots hospitality venues from Monday.

Non-professional indoor contact sports will also be allowed to resume from this date. Scots can download the NHS Scotland Covid Status app on the App Store or Google Play store. Users will be taken through a series of prompts to verify that the details they have requested are for the right person.

Once this process is complete, details of both their vaccination status for domestic (with QR code) and international purposes will be available to use.
