Sally was off work for a month after being stricken with the virus, so vital Corrie scenes showing her character Abi at the court were swiftly filmed and added after she returned.

After she had recovered the soap star managed to film her scenes, co-starring Michael Le Vell as her partner Kevin, within two days with a crew member who read out the lines.
