A woman who lost her dad to Covid-19 days before Christmas has called for an annual memorial day to remember the victims of the pandemic.
Heartbroken Tiffany Jones made the appeal as the UK's coronavirus death toll passed 100,000. She knows full well the pain of losing a loved one after her dad Colin passed away on December 18 at the age of 61.
Tiffany described the grandfather-of-five as the "funniest man you could ever meet", and said: "My mum was expecting to be in her 80s with him."
