COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Health said that the assistance of philanthropists is expected to address the shortage of medicine in the country.The Deputy Director-General of Health Services, Dr.

G. Wijesuriya said that currently many Hospitals posses medicine stocks that will only last for approximately two months.He said that the hospital system does NOT possess sufficient medicine reserves. .
