The actress and wellness guru - who started up company Goop - recently wrote a piece for her website revealing her battle with the virus had left her with "some long-tail fatigue and brain fog." While the disease is short-lived for most, others have found that its effects last longer, for weeks or months.

This is called Long Covid, and is thought to occur in around 10% of those infected with the virus, according to the British Medical Journal.

Gwyneth went on to explain that a "functional medicine practitioner" had recommended she stick to a healing regime that employed "intuitive fasting." She also told that she was mainly on a "keto[genic]
