Gwyneth Paltrow says the reason she didn't open up about her coronavirus diagnosis a year ago has nothing to do with her role in Contagion.
The film star has revealed for the first time that she was struck down with Covid-19 at the start of the pandemic. Gwyn stated that she believes she contracted the deadly virus during her trip to Paris in February 2020.
Rumours swirled that the 48-year-old didn't want people to make the connection between her illness and the movie she starred in back in 2011.
The hit film saw people battle against a mystery killer bug and a worldwide panic ensue. Many thought Gwyneth didn't publicly say she has Covid as she feared talk of life imitating art.
