Cases have consistently been falling in all ten Greater Manchester boroughs for the past ten days. But in the most recent figures, week-on-week increases of seven per cent were recorded in Oldham and Wigan.
Now Oldham has the highest infection rates in Greater Manchester, with 63.7 cases per 100,000 people, overtaking Rochdale. All ten boroughs remain above the national average for England, which stands at 28 cases per 100,000 people.
