More than 10,000 people in Greater Manchester tested positive for coronavirus in the last week, the latest figures show. And infection rates continue to rise in nine of the 10 boroughs in the region.
Only Stockport saw a drop in cases, according to the latest data from the UK Health Security Agency. Rochdale continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester. The lowest infection rate is in Oldham, where the rate is 290.4 cases per 100,000 people. In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 366.7 cases per 100,000 population.
