Gogglebox could face Ofcom probe after Michael family moan about coronavirus rules

"Derogatory" comments from a Gogglebox family could see the show probed by Ofcom. The broadcasting watchdog could be launching an investigation into the Channel 4 show after complaints about the episode aired on Friday, September 11.

As the show returned for a new series, the conversation turned to the coronavirus pandemic, and it seems viewers were less than impressed with some of the comments made by the Michael family.

It came after the families sat down to watch a segment of the BBC News. The Michael family began discussing the fact that many young people are now moving to other parts of the country to go to university.
