Glee star Lea Michele rushes son, two, to hospital with 'scary health issue'

Lea Michele had a terrifying experience on Wednesday as she was forced to rush her two year old son Ever to the hospital.The former Glee star, 36, took to Instagram to ask for "love and strength" revealing that Ever had been taken to hospital over a "scary health issue".

Posting on her Instagram Story, Lea explained that she wouldn't be appearing in Wednesday night's performance of Funny Girl, as she wrote: "I’m so sorry but unfortunately I will be out of @FunnyGirlBwy today. "We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for.

I’m so sorry. Please send us some love and strength." The Broadway show's Instagram also announced Lea's absence from the show, in a statement which read: "Lea Michele will be out of both the matinee and evening performance today, Wednesday, March 22.

Julie Benko will be your fabulous Fanny!" Fans were quick to send their well-wishes to Lea and her family, with one writing: "Sending so much love to Lea and her baby boy [blue heart emoji]." Another said: "Family first always [red heart emoji] I hope everything is okay" and a second added: "I hope Ever is going to be okay." Lea welcomed her little bundle of joy with her husband Zandy Reich in August 2020, but didn't reveal his face on social media until January 2022.
