Glastonbury 2021 has been officially cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the festival's organisers have confirmed.Michael and Emily Eavis announced the news on Thursday afternoon, explaining it was simply not possible for the festival to go ahead in the current climate.
The festival bosses assured ticket-holders, who originally secured tickets in October 2019, their deposits would still be valid for next year's event.Their statement read: "With great regret, we must announce that this year’s Glastonbury Festival will not take place, and that this will be another enforced fallow year for us.
