20).Today’s (20) project in the Mahahettiyawa village, is the 14th Rural Community Project for 2021 handed to the people by GAMMADDA, as part of its Accelerated Development Drive across Sri Lanka. Residents of the Mahahettiyawa village in Palagala, Kekirawa of the Anuradhapura district are faced with many difficulties, of which the lack of access to clean drinking water remains one of the most crucial issues.Among their daily struggles, the villagers are compelled to consume brackish water, which is of high salinity resulting in many residents falling ill due to Chronic Kidney.
