There has been a further rise in the number of people in hospital with Covid-19. As of 8am, there were 169 patients being treated for the virus, an increase of nine on the same time yesterday.
This figures compares to 106 people in hospital on this day last week and more than double the number two weeks ago. However, the number of patients with the virus in intensive care units has fallen.
As of 11.30am, there were 23 people receiving treatment in ICU, a reduction of three on the same time yesterday. On this day last week, there were 22 patients with the coronavirus in critical care.
