An additional 820 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Northern Ireland, as well as six further deaths related to the disease.
It brings the total number of deaths in the north to 621. There have been 28,040 confirmed cases of the virus since the outbreak began, 7,056 in the last seven days.
There are currently 261 people hospitalised with the virus in Northern Ireland. Twenty-nine of those patients are in intensive care, with 25 of those on ventilators.
The biggest daily rise in cases was seen in Belfast, where 237 were confirmed. This was followed by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon council area with 92 cases.
