The latest NHS figures bring the region's coronavirus hospital death toll to 5,834. Two more deaths were recorded by Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust recorded one more death each.
