Federal government extending COVID-19 emergency benefits, Trudeau announces

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Friday the government would extend many of its COVID-19 benefits as the pandemic continues.

The Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB) and the Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit will be extended by 12 weeks, while another two weeks will be added to the Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit.
