The country lifted strict rules in the city where the virus is said to have originated to prevent the spread of Covid-19, after China reported no deaths on Tuesday.
But authorities in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou are investigating a possible outbreak, after five Nigerian nationals were infected with the bug, reports Daily Mail reports.
Out of the group, four had visited a food place "Emma Food" multiple times. The restaurant owner and her daughter, 8, along with another child, 3, also tested positive for coronavirus.
